Looking forward to seeing, it and hearing about your impressions especially if you Dyno. You sold your gen 2?
I’ll be sure to keep you posted Shawn and yes, sold the big red top to another forum member.

I had a chance today to visit my buddy at Tasca and get a "before" Gen 3 blower dyno session. I am simply blown away with the results. Today was the perfect weather for testing but that said I feel the results are legit. I drove 45 min to the shop and the car went directly on the roller. The only time the car was turned off was to strap her down and get everything hooked up, so maybe 10-15 min. We did 2 back to back pulls then took 10 min to swap to a smaller pulley and did the third pull so there was not much, if any cool down time.

Logistics:

93 pump gas
10oz of Boostane added to the tank
Stage 2 Whipple
Whipple Calibration
72# DW Injectors
Kooks LT with "green" cats
Magnaflow Mid Muffler
Roush Active Quad muffs
Automatic car, stock converter
DSS CF Driveshaft
Stock axles
70º temp, 33% Humidity

First two pulls is with 3.625" pulley - They were pretty much identical. The chart below is showing the first of these pulls.

10 min pulley change between

Third pull is with 3.50" pulley

Needless to say I am happy, I have not seen better results on an automatic car on 93 octane. I was just hoping to stay in the 700 rwhp club and was blown away with 747/578. I can not wait for the G3 to get here and see what the results are.

Strong numbers! This is going to be very interesting swapping out to the new Gen 3 head unit. Great that you did this before dyno, intrigued to see the performance gains!

Been a little occupied lately after taking delivery of my new Super Duty. Mustang has taken a back seat for a bit but I can’t imagine for long. Gotta log some more seat time before old man winter comes.

Currently relaxing on the balcony of my room in Cancun browsing everyone’s builds and enjoying the peaceful time with my beautiful wife who lets me have my nice toys.

Thanks, I’m loosing sleep over here waiting for a shipment email from Whipple.

Love the car man! i really dig all the red and carbon in the engine bay!
Thank you sir. I think the red/carbon/magnetic is a winning combination but one might say I’m slightly biased lol.

Well, time for some more margaritas and some Mexican food

Great numbers and nice truck!

How do you like those kooks with green cats? Dying to get headers but worried about emmisions. I believe our laws in CT are similar to yours.
