Really enjoy seeing your build progress. I am actually contemplating a switch to a GT350 myself. I have someone who is selling a 2016 in the exact same color and stripes as yours. Were you able to resolve your clutch issues? Any other problems I should be aware of?
Thanks man! I think the clutch issue may be resolved, not exactly sure just yet though. I just picked up the car yesterday and I have to baby it for about 500 miles before I get to open it up. But honestly I'd highly recommend the MGW. I mean I'm not exactly sure how everyone can drive with the gates being misaligned when the transmission is torqued over from heavy load.
Have you already installed the MGW? I know that everyone says the Tremle Transmission is better than the MT82 in the GT..
Yeah I installed the MGW after getting locked out of 4th over and over under heavy load. It's my first manual so I'm not used to shifting into the 6th position while at 8K RPMs, lol. Now I can just go straight down much more confidently. I know a lot of people don't have this issue but it was extremely annoying for me.
yeah, I had similar issues with my GT.. I ended up going with the Barton Hybrid 3 which really made a difference once I had it adjusted correctly...Now I don't even think about missing gates or getting locked out...
Exactly, lol. Same here when it comes to the MGW. An absolute must for this car IMHO.
