I currently have a set 19"x8.5" fronts and 19"x10" in the rear. Car make too much power to hold a set of 305/35/19 Nitto 555 G2s. I had a pair of NT05Rs on the car and they were unsafe at any speed in the rain. I've run NT555Rs on my last 4 blown cars with great success on the street. Unfortunately, Nitto does not offer the 555R in a 19". So this led me to find a 20" wheel option that matched my 19" fronts. With help from forum members I was able to find a pair of Satin Black PP replicas in a 20". Unfortunately, they are not a perfect match and most will not notice, but I will.
The below pictures show the 19"s on the front and 20"s on the rear. The wheel vender has a 20x8.5, 19x9, and 19x9.5. One of my front tires has a bubble and a nail in it and needs to be replaced. So a new pair of tires will need to be purchased. Plus I want to match the fronts with my rears so a pair of 555s will be going on in either 19" or 20"
Where I'm on the fence is whether to go 20s or 19s in the front. If I go 20s, it will fill the wheel well and look good, but limit myself to a 255. If I go with 19s I could get a larger front tire and a little bit of a rake for a more aggressive look. Tires are within a $1 of each other in 19s or 20s so price is not really a factor. Drag Radials on the rear will also prevent rotation so mix match sizes are not a factor either.
I'm looking for some opinions and what others are or have run in the past.
Thanks in advance.
