I currently have a set 19"x8.5" fronts and 19"x10" in the rear. Car make too much power to hold a set of 305/35/19 Nitto 555 G2s. I had a pair of NT05Rs on the car and they were unsafe at any speed in the rain. I've run NT555Rs on my last 4 blown cars with great success on the street. Unfortunately, Nitto does not offer the 555R in a 19". So this led me to find a 20" wheel option that matched my 19" fronts. With help from forum members I was able to find a pair of Satin Black PP replicas in a 20". Unfortunately, they are not a perfect match and most will not notice, but I will.

The below pictures show the 19"s on the front and 20"s on the rear. The wheel vender has a 20x8.5, 19x9, and 19x9.5. One of my front tires has a bubble and a nail in it and needs to be replaced. So a new pair of tires will need to be purchased. Plus I want to match the fronts with my rears so a pair of 555s will be going on in either 19" or 20"

Where I'm on the fence is whether to go 20s or 19s in the front. If I go 20s, it will fill the wheel well and look good, but limit myself to a 255. If I go with 19s I could get a larger front tire and a little bit of a rake for a more aggressive look. Tires are within a $1 of each other in 19s or 20s so price is not really a factor. Drag Radials on the rear will also prevent rotation so mix match sizes are not a factor either.

I'm looking for some opinions and what others are or have run in the past.

Thanks in advance.

do you do any auto cross? is there a reason you wouldnt want a 255? Have you thought about just different wheels all around?

Nope...I just do straight line stuff. I like the look of the PP Satin wheels and I've pretty much locked myself in to the style because I also have a pair of 18x10s with MT ET Street R's on them as well as a 18x5 with front runners. The 255 is what I run now on the front and is not a bad look. I could get a 275 if I went down to the 19" size due to the extra width options.

Can't wait to see your set-up! Ironically I kind of like how my drag set up looks with 18' rim upfront due to my car being a pp and 17'' rim out back. I like the idea of mixing 19's front and 20's rear because of the stance and the fact that it's not very common.

The GT500 had it just not as many members on the 6th gen do it.

Here are a couple more pics of the current setup. 19" Satin Black Fronts by OE and 20" Satin Black Rears by Factory Reproduction Style 54. Center caps are different sizes and the outer edge is different. The OE rim looks closer to the stock PP wheel IMO. From a distance and unless you are looking for it, its hard to tell they are different. But I can and it bugs me. I planned on buying new rubber for the front and the difference between a 19" and 20" tire was $1 so I opted to buy a set of 20x8.5 Style 54s to match the rears and make it easier to off my 19s. Once I get the wheels and tires mounted I post up some more pics for reference.

Thanks Paul@PKAUTODESIGN for wheels.

Went with 20s all the way around. I think it looks better than the 19s + 20s IMO.
