So I went from sumitomo htr ziii in 275 at all corners to the MT's with 305s in the back on project 6GR 20x11s...broke the tires in for about 500 miles or so to get anything off the surface. Crazy thing is, my 275s hooked better.

Tire pressure is 29.5...curious what others are running or have seen that the MTs just dont hook as well. They are great otherwise...ride is awesome, low noise...just expected more bite. Even after driving for a while there are no issue s rolling into the throttle in 2nd and getting sideways. Car is tuned with headers but thats it.

Did you brake them in right or you just chomped on them from the start?

I did not just romp on them from the start...basic driving and aggressive driving for about 500 miles, no burnouts or linelocks

Then you allowed them to break in so they didnt glaze over

Its not the first time I have heard this about the Mickey before.

Those tires are terrible. My car literally lost .4 0-60 over the stock skinny 18s. I tried everything and nothing helped. I then went to nitto n55 g2 and they hooked up better but when I got a tune they were overwhelmed also. I just got some Michelin mpss and wow what a difference. These tires completely transformed my car.
