2018 Mustang Orders Priority

Hey all. I've been lurking on here for a while as I plan to purchase a 2018, and I was curious about how they did order scheduling for new MY vehicles. I know they have priority codes assigned to each vehicle, but is it also first come - first served for orders placed before the scheduling date? Thanks.
