I am very interested in your results! I have been going back and forth about what to do next with mine. I have also thought that I could hit about 500whp with a switch to the cobra jet set up and stage 3 cams. I also think Dominant1's setup would be right at that mark with an e85 switch (10rwhp), and a cobra jet/mono set up (15rwhp). Just a hard decision when $2k buys 20-30whp vs $5k buying 200+whp. I don't go to the track that often and I just don't know how far I need to go for the occasional run in mexico. I really feel like 500rwhp is just right for this car on the street............well until I have it. LOL

I did not order springs. Seems a lot of people spin the stock springs on other IM's. I don't know how much more aggressive the cam lobes are and if they are a must.
The stock valve springs are not designed for 8000 rpm pulls, you will get valve float. better safe then sorry. Yeah it costs more but its great insurance to upgrade to a set of trickflows!!!

It was a real tough call! My logic is make it as efficient as possible NA and prepare for a blower. I know myself and I will get greedy and possibly hurt a motor with FI. I have did it on my last car. Then had BES build a motor then it held together. So this time I will have a shortblock done before I go FI instead of making a pile of metal.

I feel that this route is extremely safe. I was already having the OPG done, so why not cams at same time. Yes it added up, but it will be done right and make max power. I know where my MPH is now and it will be interesting to see what it hits afterwards. I know dyno's are tools. Trust me though, if I don't hit close to 500, I will be disappointed!

I'll probably go stage 2 N/A cams. I don't want to move my power up to 8500, 8k is plenty for me.

Stage 3 moves it from 2000-7500 vs stage 2 1850-7250. I figured it closer matched the intake and won't hurt the drivability do to it being a manual.

Stage 2 makes power according to Lund, they just had one put down 514whp.

Do you have a link to this 514hp car? Im all about a 500 hp n/a car. But this motor seems to be better with boost.
