That's the standard west coast to HI rate. In your case just fly in and drive it back. These cars are so comfortable I wouldn't think twice about it.

Got a base GT with 3.55s and an auto trains for $30,621 OTD. That includes sales tax (7.7% in AZ) and registration fees (about ($650). Included $750 Ford cash back. I think they have maybe 1 or 2 more for this price or possibly less if you were to get a manual transmission and stock gears. Email/text me if you'd like the name of my salesman. Maybe he can hook you up.

Looks like they only have a 2016 Deep Impact blue Premium one with Yellow Jacket trim and Automatic left. It's $32,300 or so I think. Still a good price on a new one. It's like 6k or so off MSRP.

I just did a build to order for a GT Premium at the local Ford dealership yesterday. The dealership offered me $475 below the invoice including available rebate/incentives upon delivery of the vehicle. This was the best build to order deal I could find here in So Cal. I am saving $2690 below MSRP not including the additional savings from the rebate upon delivery

I'm looking around for a 2016/2017 GT Premium with 401A, Red Accent Color Group, and Auto. MSRP is $41,205 I believe. What should I expect to pay if I can find one on the lot? I was aiming for $38,000 OTD.

16 should be at least 5k off before any current incentives as there is unadvertised dealer cash on all left over 16 Mustangs. Ideally you should be able to get Invoice -$5k - any applicable rebates and incentives which should be at least $2k minimum. I would say invoice minus $7k should be your starting point on any 16 Mustang. Also you can signup for an extra $750 here
https://www.fordspecialoffer.com/SEMA They dont ask for anything specific to verify that you attended SEMA.

So in other words, $38,000 is way too high? lol.

List on mine was almost $44,000. Paid $38,000 out the door plus got them to remove the chrome badges and install the black badges. Got 6 free oil changes and got the 5 year 75,000 warranty for half price.

Thats a killer deal. Although I would never let a dealership touch my car to remove badges :D

Ideally I just want my payments to be around $500 a month. I plan on putting down $5000 and financing whatever is left over. Hopefully I'll qualify for a low APR. Credit is pretty decent, around 760.

If I can get below $500 that'd be great though.

I had my 2017 grabber blue gt premium pp with 401A built ordered for me. Got my dealer to go $200 under invoice. I'll pick it up next week and with the current incentives, will be paying a couple hundred over MSRP. I'm fine paying that price because I got exactly what I ordered and the buying process has been extremely pleasnat(I've never bought a new car before).
