Just a quick couple pics I took after I finished washing, claybar, and waxing the car. I used all Jax Wax products.

I've got caliper envy. Did you use G2 or have them powder coated by a pro?
Neither. I actually went to Autozone and got a couple cans of Duplicolor Engine paint in Chevy Orange. It's a near perfect match. Only way you'll notice a difference is if you hold your caliper next to a body panel. Went over it with a couple coats of their engine paint clear coat. I will say it's not as durable as the G2 that I used on my 2014 DIB GT, but it's about $20 vs over $100 for their color matched kit.

What he said: caliper envy

Tribefan: First, sweet ride, especially the wheels. btw I'm sorry but I'm going to have to copy that look :headbang:
Did you base coat or prime coat the calipers prior to spraying the Chevy Orange?
How did you prep the calipers prior to spraying?

Actually steelersfan, it's Cleveland Browns Orange!!! :headbang: Lol.

I didn't do a basecoat or anything, although I probably should have. I just cleaned them really well with brake cleaner (used 3-4 cans) and then some alcohol. Then I took the rotor off, bolted the caliper loosely back into place and just masked stuff off and painted them. I did 4-5 coats of orange (2 cans worth) and 2-3 coats of clear over that. I put the decals on while the orange was still a little tacky before spraying the clear.

Tribefan your wheels haven't fell off yet, so it can't be Cleveland Browns Orange

Very nice job and I do appreciate the information, kind sir.

Had my roof and vents wrapped over the weekend by a couple friends. Vents were previously just Auto Dipped. Mirrors to come soon hopefully.

Really considering doing my roof like this. Mines a cali special and had the mirrors, spoiler and vents already black, I'm just concerned the wrap is going to look noticeably different in gloss compared to the factory black accents..

my roof is called "ultra black metallic" almost looks like the grey metallic on the cars now, i was thinking of wrapping the vents and mirrors in the grey metallic to match but not sure how that would look.
i dont think you would have issues if everything is "gloss black" just dont mix with metallics...
