No Special Model until April 2019.

Oh that is a much longer way off, it is not even April 2017 yet.

So April 2019 for the GT/CS or Mach 1 if they ever make one?

That seems too far away to even be considered remotely accurate.

How about if this April (that's right, 2017), we saw:

- a N/A 5.2L CPC V8 with 20-30 (ish) hp more than the 2018 GT

- And a TT 5.0L V8 pushing 775hp/700lb-ft (again, ish)

I do struggle to believe we won't see a Mach 1 or a GT500/halo-Stang until calendar year 2019. That's the last model year of S550 ('20MY) before the S650 debuts ('21MY) in 2020.

I can believe either or both would be '19MY cars.......with a debut either late this year (LA in Dec?) or early next (Detroit). Or, as Ford seems to like to do with Mustang, it may not be tied to any particular auto show.

But April 2019 just seems too distant :(

My thinking is that if a SE comes out, it'll be for the '19MY. I agree that April '19 seems a bit late, as that would be pushing into the '20MY. But a Mach/Bullitt/etc model for '19 allows a 2-year run without detracting from the '18MY refresh. But I guess we'll see...

Agreed......and if it's one or the other, a '19MY Mach 1 makes sense to tie in with the 50th Anniversary. A Bullitt would really need to be an '18MY.....

Well, Bullitt was released to theaters in October of '68, so if one was timing the anniversary of the movie (rather than the Mustang featured in it), an SE for the beginning of the '19MY would work...
