For some reason I can not find a straight answer on this question but will the PP2 tune increase red line? I have heard both yes and no..

60' time? 112 seems low for sure. With PP2,CB and stock pirellis I got 12.7@113(using track apps) on CA 91 octane and 93 degrees ambient. I did 2 runs back to back both 12.7 and 112/113mph.
60fts all between 1.9-2.0 atleast a dozen runs. I hit 112 once it consistently runs 111 at 12.6

well numbers done lie, only picked up .11 and 1 mph with PP2, went 13.10 @ 110 before
and 12.99 @ 111 after

Anyone who is just now putting PP2 on gets the updated tune... no extra updating required.

The newest tune keeps the throttle body butterfly slam on shutdown.
Correct, but there are still multiple calibrations.

What was the DA on both days? What track and what dates, and I'll help you figure it out. Varying weather conditions can account for some of that, but my experience with PP1 vs. stock vs. AED tuned is that the Ford warranty tunes are ... lukewarm at best.

didn't check it on 8/4/17 but was cooler than last night, DA was 2941 last night at ZMAX in concord

weighed the car also and with me and a 1/8th tank it's 4060lbs

Ford Performance calibrations aren't tailored to drag racing where the built in safety margins and limits necessitated by CARB EOs aren't utilized. For a DD, HPDE or someone interested keeping their warranty they are perfect. No aftermarket tooner can replicate what they are doing in Dearborn and still promise you warranty, safety and driveability.

Corrected numbers. I always take these with a grain of salt. Even though you're mostly stock, I'd go off of the middle number.

Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
12.532 @ 115.137 MPH

Extensively Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
12.671 @ 113.881 MPH

Extensively Modified Supercharged and Turbocharged Engines
12.811 @ 112.537 MPH

No, they are certainly not! The PP1 tune was good for MAYBE .1 and 1 mph in the 1/4mi, and all of the nannies were still as intrusive. To be honest, I wish I didn't do it. It wasn't worth it.

the warranty was a deciding factor but I guess the important part is the car does feel better and is great on the street

Thats wierd, I picked up almost 5 mph! My best run on slicks was a 12.08 @ 115.3. I'm not sure what the DA was but it was in the low 80's with some humidity both times I went to the track.
