You realize you are going to get a TON of PM's and replies that will go something like this:
"Hey, my order number/dealer number or VIN number is ..... can you get your friend to track my car?"
But, it is always cool to know someone on the "inside."
Oh, I agree, it's all good. If I had any insider track, I would share it as well, as long as it didn't compromise my source and their job ... :shocked:Just trying to help our as i've been helped in the past, if some of this info is known, oh well, if not? Then good.
Sharing is caring
From what i've seen on the forum, it seems like it was mainly Job 1/stock cars that were held for QC for so long. Some Retail orders that were built on 10/23 and 10/22 are already in transit... so. Maybe thats why my car being built on 10/21 hasnt shipped yet, due to that repair he is referring to. If they detect an issue, he said that repairs are on Sundays.. so idk.Any insight on the QC process would be very cool.
We all know Ford reads these forums as well......And he will get reprimanded, or fired so I wouldn't post anymore of these convo's. Personally I think FORD should be documenting all Retail orders with photo's going down the line and awaiting shipment. That would make this experience much more enjoyable and worth it. Seeing the car from start to finish in this digital world isn't that complicated.
