I'm getting rid of my 18inch wheels on my 2015 GT. I just bought 19x9.0 front and 19x9.5 rear wheels. I was thinking about getting 265 for the front and 285 for the rear. Any suggestions on tires, and would those size tires work ? I am setting it up for limited track days.

nothing wrong with those sizes. tires depend on preferences on desire from the tire

Depends which way you want to "error" so to speak.

If you go with a 40 series, they're going to be a little taller, if you go with a 35 series, they'll be a little shorter.

The difference is greater for the shorter option than the taller option, you'll get a little change to the effective final gear ratio, also some cosmetic difference (less/more tire in the fender well).

Plenty of general high/ultra performance options from the usual suspects: BFG, Nitto, Firestone, Michelin, etc., and you'll just have to do some research on who offers what combination.

TireRack and other online suppliers have good tools to plug in the sizes.

when you say "track day" do you mean a road track, like Nelson Ledges, PIRC, Watkins Glen, etc?? or do you mean a drag strip?
