17" race wheel other than racestars? and 26" tall tire questions?

looking for a set of 17" wheels (frontrunners up front, bigger in the rear) that arent the direct drill style. its a ton of work to swap wheels at the track with the racestars. is there a factory-style option to look at? other than putting the wheels on and off i love the racestars.

the other options is to go 20" drag radial i guess.

Weld Racing Wheels in 17+ Diameter offer the option for a acorn style lug nut. This allows you to use a stock style lugnut that is open ended.

I second Welds

i only know of welds and racestars welds are so expensive though.. im holding out in hope a cheaper option will come up.. i have seen people use older style 17inch wheels to put drag tires on

yeah im tempted to just cheap out and go sve fronts and some other brand rears.

yeah i had someone message me about them. priced very much like racestars. if they arent a pain in the ass to put on the fronts like racestars are, then yeah i think im sold!

I'm looking for a super cheap basic 17" wheel that I can throw some 305 drag radials on. I'll probably end up with racestar bracket racers...but looking for options.

anyone run 26" tall tires on the S550? i have darkstars with 28x10 hoosiers on them and they look great on the car and the larger diameter helps at the track. do the 26" tires look goofy? i know for sure id have to shift into 4th in the quarter.

Those are about the same price as the racestar bracket racer, and heavier by 5lbs. I'm talking cheap like running 03 cobra wheels out back or something of the sort.

i was told SN95 (94-04) offset was improper. I currently have the SVE series 3 wheel in 20" and had played with the idea of going with the series 3 in 18" and running a radial.
