14.4 mpg @ 7,6xx miles, mainly city driving with some highway miles here and there.

My foot lightened up after I burned through the first set of tires at 4,3xx miles.... so probably should be a little higher :D

I feel like you guys are lying or constantly resetting your MPG counter. I've reset my counter a few times only after long trips because I know that it helps the mpg get high. but I only get 16 MPG on average and its my daily driver. I have 20k miles and I probably drive 30 miles a day.
Don't use your MPG counter.

I use Fuelly.com to track my mileage. Its probably the most accurate tool available.

Do you find Fuelly to calculate higher or lower than the vehicle's #?

I am exactly the same. I don't understand how people are getting such high mileage.

Fuelly.com does the math. You just enter the odometer reading and amount of gallons at fillup.

14-15 MPG, all city. Hit 25 MPG a few times when driving late night on the 101/110 or 105. Lowest was 11.8 over a 3-day stretch when i just felt everyone should hear me go.

Guess I don't get as much as I thought. 13.5 MPG, just passed 10K miles last week. Have only used Shell V-Power.

I think the computer is optimistic by about 1.6 MPG. When I compare my odometer distance versus gallons required to hit full tank, the calculation comes out 1.6 MPG less than what the center display shows. For me at least. Pretty sure you can adjust it in Engineering Mode.

Just looked at Trip 2. I've never reset it. It is 15.4 MPG, so a little better than what I've been seeing in Trip 1, that get's reset about every 2-3 fill ups.

Right, I understand that. I was asking does it typically come out to a higher or lower number than what Ford's system shows.

pretty constant 19 mpg here with 60/40 hwy/cty.

Best I've seen was 26.5 on 100% highway.

Worst was 16.2 which was maybe a 15/85 split.

No way I could ever see 30 mpg unless driving downhill for a tank. I guess in Chicago you may have had a tailwind?

Also, are you going by the gauge or calculating?
Yeah, going to work is much better than going home. Might be subtle decline or tailwinds.

In the pic, its just going my the gauge. Calculating myself it was pretty close.

Interesting that when I got the car a couple of weeks ago, I filled it up and saw the Miles To Empty at 185. I thought maybe they were right - that is horrible! As I've commuted, its slowly climbed into the 250's after a fill up and continue to climb.
