Some told me I would go broke commuting in a Mustang GT....

Door to door trip. 65-70mph while on the freeway, 90/10 freeway/city split. Topped out at 31.4 then I hit some traffic in the city. Not bad.

Anyone else have this kind of results?

7,000 miles all around average I'm at 18.8. 80/20 80% city/20% highway, and that 20% is at 80+ mph which really hurts.

3500 miles and I average 18.9 MPG. I drive prob. 80/20 city/hwy. When I first got the car I drive 300 miles to Myrtle beach which was almost all hwy and averaged 30 MPG in my 2016 GT PP.

Wow I hope to acheive those numbers one day.

With only 2400km's(not miles) I'm getting an avg of 12.2l/100km (19.2 MPG)

That's pretty much cruising 50mph back roads to work and some city traffic. Babying. hardly ever flooring since the engine just broke in.

Before CAI I was around 18.2, after CAI I've been hovering at 18.9-19 with no change in driving style

17.9 average. Lots of highway driving, but I don't baby it, and when I am on the highway, it's usually at 80 mph or more.

So far 20,000 miles with average right at 19mpg. Probably 70% highway, but not really at 65 mph...
Highway speed has a huge impact on MPG, going over 75 mph will drop mpg significantly.

I feel like you guys are lying or constantly resetting your MPG counter. I've reset my counter a few times only after long trips because I know that it helps the mpg get high. but I only get 16 MPG on average and its my daily driver. I have 20k miles and I probably drive 30 miles a day.

Average at around 15.8 MPG. Barely any highway. That's why my license plate says this:

I'm averaging 16.9mpg (70% city, 30% hwy). I can get 30mpg on the hwy if the road is flat/

pretty constant 19 mpg here with 60/40 hwy/cty.

Best I've seen was 26.5 on 100% highway.

Worst was 16.2 which was maybe a 15/85 split.

No way I could ever see 30 mpg unless driving downhill for a tank. I guess in Chicago you may have had a tailwind?

Also, are you going by the gauge or calculating?
