What is normal as far as cylinder head temps go? Mine got up to 235 today. I took my procharger coolant tank off of the car last week so I could fix a leak coming from the big fitting on the bottom. Right after I fixed the leak I burped the system and let the car idle in still air and watched the temp and the fans. My cylinder head temps never got above 220 while the car was at idle. At 220 the fans would come on and the head temp would drop to 212 and the fans would shut off. I'm not sure what the ECT's are but the gage never shows that the coolant gets any hotter than normal. After the car cooled I checked the tank level and it is exactly the same as it was when I filled it last week which is about 1 1/2 inches below the top of the neck. Is this normal or do I have a problem? I can't say if this happened after the blower instal or not because I never looked at the temps before. Let me know what y'all think.

200-220 is the normal range on a NA car, maybe higher if on the track.

Mine was at 215-ish driving around in traffic yesterday. Ambient temps were low 90s.

Saw 239 after idling for 10-15 minutes in 96 degrees yesterday. Dropped very quickly once traffic started moving.

my car used to go up to 230 but after the grill delete damn it stays at 205-207.
grill delete is very helpful and not just for looks.
i did notice my hood shaking a bit at higher speeds after i did the grill delete

Mine dropped 10 degrees when I put in a 170 degree thermostat the stock thermostat was marked 180 degrees. Not sure that will help you since it sounds like your thermostat is open all the time as is. Getting more air through the radiator is probably your only option. Seal up the holes around the radiator, open up the grill opening and most importantly vent the hood. For every cubic foot of air you vent out the hood an additional cubic foot goes through the radiator. I did this recently the vent comes from http://trackspe.nextmp.net/.

I'm not too sure why my temps or getting so high but I do have coolant puking out the top of my tank. I think the cap might be messed up.

Mine doesn't go higher than 196 after I installed the reische 170 tstat. Generally is in the low 180s-190s range.

Mine used to get 230+ with my ProCharger so I changed out the thermostat and now hottest it has gotten is 210.

I'm still stock but the IAT was over 120+ sitting in traffic, kinda scary cause i have a whipple on backorder and i am worried about what its going to be like in traffic on a hot summer day in august with the whipple.

I have the 170 thermostat on to be installed i am just not sure it will be enough.

I was having 220+ temps anytime I got into boost and after putting in the PC. It also hovered around 210 in traffic if not a little hotter. It was suggested that I might have air in the coolant system. So I followed the FSM instructions to rid the air, now my temp stays right around 199-200 or lower driving around in traffic, and I don't think it's gotten to 220, maybe like 215 max since then even when I get on it.

Sorry can't recall the exact instructions, it was something like first rev the car at 3500rpm and then shut it off for a minute. Then rev the car at 3500 rpm for 30 seconds then let it idle for 1 minute and shut it off let it sit for 1 minute and repeat 5 times. I don't think I did it 5 times though. Sorry those might not be the exact instructions, just some food for thought in case anyone wants to see if it might be their problem too.
