What do you use to get the oil to/from the turbos?
We feed the Turbos through a sandwich plate. We return the oil with the Exa Pump and custom lines.

The Hellion is nice, but I would not be a fan of the long term effects to the wiring, etc under the hood with that heat.

Mounting the turbos under the car has the following advantages:

-More space available
-Keeps the heat out of the engine bay, increasing longevity of certain engine bay components.
-Less Risk of Fire
-Ability to run full 3" downpipes as they don't have to be run through the engine bay, this combined with a proper header and properly sized turbine housings will keep the back pressure low and the pumping efficiency high.
-There are no exhaust pipes running through the engine bay, near to steering and electronic components, therefore less risk of having an issue related to this.

Disadvantages

-Cannot see the turbos with the hood open :-)
-Turbos mounted low will need some sort of pump system to return oil to the lubrication system/oilpan.

You realize that F-117 (Nighthawk, the aircraft in the picture you posted) does not equal SR-71 (Blackbird), right?

Or did I miss something?
No, you are correct, however the F-117 is the evolution of the SR-71....and the Blackbird Turbo kit was spawn from both of them. They should put my mouth in a circus! That may have been a politician like answer. Some truth and some B.S. Either way all aircraft and Turbo systems mentioned are all amazing. :)

SR-71 was the Blackbird.

F-117 was the Nighthawk.

Two completely different aircraft, roles and capabilities.
