2018 Ford Mustang Price Guides & Order Banks

1. Does anyone know the dates when Ford will offer their Pricing Guides?
2. When will the order banks open?

I have seen other posts but seem to have conflicting information.
Ready to order my Mustang. :cheers:

NOTE: Start taking orders in April/May and be shipped around July/August

- Ford order banks are to open for the 18MY in late June. I just got off the phone with FoMoCo Marketing. She also mentioned that dealer orders will be fulfilled before customer orders so it won't be unlikely for the first customer orders to take up to 14 weeks.

According to the latest video there will be a 'Premium Plus' option as well that is required to get the digital cluster, so you may want to keep that in mind when ordering.

Talk to your dealer...

You can get an early order in if the dealer is willing and you promise not to act like a girlyman if it gets delayed.

Basically Ford won't take 'customer" orders initially so that if there is a production delay customers can't bitch and moan about it. If the Job 1 date slips by a month or two dealers ain't gonna go nuts like a spoiled child. Thus Ford only fulfills dealer stock inventory orders until everything is up and running with each model year.

A dealer can custom order for you on day one--they just can't call it a custom 'customer' order--your name ain't gonna be on it. It will just be a regular inventory order that just happens to exactly match up with what you want....

But also understand that not every option is available at Job 1--certain options/wheels could be on restraint and have a late availability-- but as it is a dealership inventory order you don't get to complain and bug Ford Customer Service about it if the order sits a bit because of an unavailable option (because it ain't your order).
