VIN help

Hi all,

I've finally managed to get my VIN from my dealer, but when I tried to use ETIS it's saying it's not the right number of characters - it's 11 characters long, but supposed to be 17 characters long.

Any ideas?

Thanks, helps a lot, although slightly confused re the first 4 digits.

Manufacturer - do I add IFX or IFA?
Safety - do I add 6 or T?

My first digits was
1FA6P8C

It's a 1 not an i.

Try them all. You might not get anything if you've only just got the VIN. They take a while to show up on the system.

Thanks for that. Just tried it and have been told my VIN contains an invalid character. Grrrr!!

What have you ordered? Body type/options/spec?
