I highly recommend Solo Mach Thunder. Great mix of quiet, while being loud when you want it.

it has an engine!
I have the perfect kit for you. Deepest tone of any kit I've heard (I've heard them all in person), zero drone, screams like a banshee at WOT, made in the USA from 304 Stainless, and lifetime warrantied. Doesn't get better for what you're asking.

A review to go with it doesnt hurt.

If you have the money, go with the Corsa Extreme I love the sound on that exhaust. I have a Roush Axleback with an X-Pipe and it sounds fantastic. It's very loud when you get on it, everyone will know you are there but if you shift at lower rpms, it's not loud at all.

I would also suggest to look at the Borla ATAKs, I rode with one in a friends car and it sounds awesome with no drone at all.

I have found a really good deal on a Corsa sport
I heard a Roush last night. Love the sound but I wonder if I will get tired of the cabin noise as its my daily driver

I've had the Corsa Xtreme on for a couple days now and the sound is amazing. No drone is the best part because it's definitely a loud exhaust

Heres a vid of the BBK Varitune fully open with factory Resonator.

Solo Performance.
This guy knows what's up. I went Solo Performance on my Ram truck, based on the sound it was an easy choice for my 5.0.

Solo Mach Thunder FTW!

That sounds like a stock exhaust with some added pops
It's deeper than stock. Deeper than my h pipe. So much so that with the h pipe it was too much

It's probably just the video sound quality since it doesn't pick up bass

I'd recommend the Corsa Sport or Borla S-Type catback.

I've got the Borla S-Type w/ a Ford Performance X-Pipe.....absolutely love it!

If I had to do it again, I'd buy the J&M X-pipe instead of the Ford Racing X-pipe (J&M X-pipe is made out of 304 stainless for $148) and buy the Borla S-Type Axleback again.

Both the Borla or Corsa will provide:
Quality Stainless System.
Normal driving = Nice V8 rumble/tone.
Accelerating hard = Aggressive V8 roar.
Steady speed (highway cruising) = zero drone.

It's nice to open it up and hear an aggressive roar, but also chill out in 6th and the exhaust disappears.

I've had solo on my G8 GT
one of the first sets on my 13 Mustang GT
had it on my 14 Ram 1500
and currently on my 15 Mustang GT

I will continue buying them for every vehicle I change the exhaust on. Their products are top notch and the customer service provided by Jeff and Steve are unmatched.

I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

Except the audio in the video doesn't do the kit justice in the least. It sounds completely different from what they filmed. It actually kinda made me mad how off it was.:frusty:

I started out with a Magnaflow Comp AB. LOVED IT. Deep sound, not crazy loud.
I'd say it sounded VERY similar to the Krona exhaust mentioned earlier.
Here's the thing. I had to get rid of the factory resonator as part of the upgrade to headers and 3" exhaust (the MF Comp AB is already 3").
So, we made up a 3" system to mate up to the AB, slapped an H pipe in it and a hotdog (glass pack) each side.
I'm not a fan. It's raspy and raucous. There is no "stealth mode".
Others LOVE IT...
My point is, be careful what you buy. Headers and high-flow cats (no cats?) shift the game entirely.
Vid included below, max rpm is 4k, it gets WAY crazier with revs.

There is nothing like hearing something in person to help make a decision. I see Orlando has a Mustang club. There is also an Orlando Cars and Coffee. Go to these shows and network. I'm sure some of these guys have after market set ups to listen to. That said if you plan to get headers later what sounds good with stock manifolds is gonna be NASCAR loud with catless headers should you go that route. Keep this in mind. My son's 15 GT with cat back Corsa pipes sounded awesome with stock manifolds. Then he did catless headers. It is now too loud for my tastes. I love my Corsa cat backs. Fit and finish are impeccable. Normal cruising they are quiet. Give it a little gas it growls a little. Give it a lot of gas and heads turn. Good luck finding what you like.
