The front has more of a euro feel to it. Maybe ford trying to broaden the global appeal. It has less of a muscle car look I think, but it's not horrible.

If my order stretches out till then and I wind up with a 2018 I wont be too fussed. I'm more interested in what mechanical changes they may have made and if those improvements can be retrofitted in the future to the 2015-2017 models.

There are rumours of a 10 speed auto in the 2018, maybe that would have swayed me from a manual... but it's unlikely.

Yeah I'm glad I got the first version, l also think they nailed the design and l just love it. The refresh doesn't seem to flow as well in my opinion. Never selling so it really doesn't matter to me about resale.

As said by others, lm sure others will love the new look. .....however I'm not keen.

I don't hate the new look... Definitely looks softer/less aggressive than the current model. I had already made the decision to stick with my MY17 due to being in love with the Grabber Blue, and the new appearance only reinforces this decision.

The thing I am most interested in for MY18 is the changes to content and features... this is what could have swayed me to upgrade to a MY18 and the thing that may make me regret not doing so.

YAY, I'm happy with the new Mustang. It makes my out-of-alignment 2016 Mustang looks so much better!!!

The front looks so tame that it doesnt even look like a muscle car.
Are they trying to compete with Camry...?

All in all, happy days for all M6G Version 1.0 owners :D

there no change to gt350 and gt350r only new colours available for those from what I read. In saying that there is likely the gt500 coming out which will be interesting to see what front they use.

At the risk of being accused of being biased, I am also rather disappointed at the first images of the 2018.

Strange choice of colour to be showcased IMO - looking forward to seeing some of the more traditional colours in HD stills before I pass further judgement.

I'm sure it will grow on me.

Initial impression is no good. May grow on me over time, when I see it in other colours as Drewbo said. It was always going to be hard to improve on the current design.

I don't like it.

I believe the general consensus from others is that the design team nailed the styling and proportions on S550.

I honestly can't see myself updating to a MY2018.

Good lord, the front looks more like a jap/mainstream car than a muscle car.

Reminds me of lexus and bmws.

Heck the changes don't even look thought out.. lets just flip the lights over and put a lexus bumper on! Yay facelift! At least issue new wheels.. its not that hard - negotiate a deal with someone else if you can't be bothered to redesign them yourself.

Ford should really have taken note of what existing buyers are doing to their cars and saying about it for the facelift.

I think it will look ok in black - that would tend to soften the edginess.

Still interested in the mechanical changes and what has changed inside.

Keeping my MY16 though.
