Oh you want under the covers... yeah that's a MY15-17 not a MY18 front bumper. (i actually expected a MY18 bumper!)

It was already known a while ago (via the US dealer ordering system) that the 2018 Shelbys would be retaining the -17 fascias front and rear.... if they do that for the 350 and 350R, makes sense to do it for what I presume will be the 500.

If that is the 2018 front end, then I am really happy about having my '16.

This Shelby tease has nothing to do with Ford, so it's just going to be another GT with bolt ons right?

I am not against the MY18 looks, more sleeker and aero-dynamic, but less muscular for sure.

At least we now have confirmed that the 5.0 Coyote will be present but with Direct & Port injection, no power figures though yet but expect 460-475PS.
10-speed is also confirmed as well, got to have a feel of the paddles in the Raptor and they are metal with a nice click, so at least feel good.

Yep it's shelby america, not shelby ford (Gt350) so it'll be a GT with bolt on's, as usual with 'Shelby America'.

Junk, we can do it ourselves better!

New design seems to have bigger front mouth, don't think it does but I actuallly think a front plate will actually make it look better due to fact the design has less going on.

Won't this car now have to go through all the EU regs again? Or would that have already happened?

Both grilles are considerably larger:








Other changes visibly:

reflector moved to below the light
Fog light (probably incorporated with headlight)
Sidelight appears to be different, as does the indicator (looks like LED holes)
Vents different
Hoo is missing the lines that come fromt he front sides of the grilles
power lines down the middle are longer
redesigned front lights
Side 'vent' for aero/looks is larger
Lower grille looks 'incorporated' into the panel, rather than a bolt on

rear tail lights redesign
one colour rear valance/diffuser
Unknown for quad exit exhaust (Can't even see it on the frame by frames)

Not keen on that.....I'll bet that new front end is more to do with pedestrian safety rules than it is restyling...:(
