MBRP Street Cat-Back Exhaust w/ H-Pipe: thoughts?/experiences?

I have the stainless steel street version. Before my headers install it had a nice rumble to it. After I installed my Kook's headers, my first start up of the day wakes people up in the surrounding counties and they wanna start throwing sh*t at ya. After it's warmed up, it sounds kick-a**. The fit was perfect before and after the headers install, and quality was right on. No issues with anything.

Like I said before, the car is garaged for the rest of winter, it needs some new rubber and and oil change.... but I'm convinced on the exhaust... such a deal! Will order when weather breaks

Thanks!!! And welcome to the club. Just make sure you don't make final judgement until a few hundred miles in. It just keeps getting better with the miles.

im convinced this needs to happen. a few questions before I pull the trigger.

1. how much HP gains can I expect from this system? has anyone tested it on the dyno?

2. Should I get a tune with the exhaust? can I run w/o a tune like I have now? or wait until I scoop up a CAI and tune it then.

1. +50 Hp. +55 if you put the sticker on.

lol, j/K. Theres no HP increase. The real benefit is throttle response and sound. A lot of manufacturers say that to increase sales.

No tune needed. If you get a CAI then a tune would help.

By chance, does anyone know the H pipe center to center distance?

got the pipes installed and damnnnnnn.... I love it! I think I wasted an entire tank of gas the first day. sounds great! and no drone thank you everyone in this thread that helped me with the decision! Sadly MBRP made a mistake and sent me two different sized exhaust tips... one which does not even fit :frusty: so I have been driving around with no tips haha. They are supposed to be sending me the correct one. Still....I am happy with my purchase! pix once I get the tips mounted lol!
