I was wondering the same as well. I am looking to upgrade from V6 to a GT premium. Getting one now heavily discounted or wait for 18? Decisions.

I know that GM is offering reductions on pricing for new Camaros, But when i went in to my local GM dealer to get a part for my boss's Cadillac, i was surprised to see so many Camaros on the lot. They had quite a few SS's in most every color along with RS's. They had 4 times as many on their lot as the local Ford dealer has Mustangs.

Now that the Camaro is price competitive it's picking up traction. Goes to show price beats performance with the general public.

It's not price competitive, not without discounts.

When the majority of sales were at MSRP..look at the sales numbers. Only when both GM and dealerships were either making absolute minimum profit, or loss, on cars was the Camaro even matching a slower S550 month.

First congrats to Ford on selling over 100k Stangs two years in a row.

Second it outsold a new Camaro by over 30k units.

Third Camaro Fanboys should be worried about the Challenger nipping at their heels because Camaro aint gonna catch the Stang.

Fourth don't be fooled by the numbers GM dumped twice the usual amount of cars on rental lots in November and December.

Upon further inspection we find that GM dumped twice the usual amount of cars on rental lots in November and December.

I'm expecting a bump for the Camaro based on the ugliness of the 18 mustang.

My personal opinion is the car looks great.

The comments I read sound a lot like the ones we heard when the 2015 Mustang was introduced.

1. Calm down and wait to see it in person

2. The 2015 and 2016 Mustang both sold over 100k units.

3. People keep saying the Camaro looks better but the sales don't show it.

4. Sales are what counts not youtube comments.

5. This is a new generation and they want different things out of their cars.

6. Ford must change with the time.

7. Most people who dislike this car are late 30's and older and not in the market for this type of car.
