Do you have a shopmate account with Auspost?
Not sure on the limitations for size, but they're an economical alternative for freight forwarding.
Just saying.:D
No I don't. I'll see what I can get locally.

Well, after discovering that they'd left the main harness out of the kit I decided to run the 3/8" air lines to the front. Some people run them inside the car but it's not so easy with 3/8" and mostly you have to drill holes through metal to get them back out into the wheel wells....not happening!
So looking underneath I found the fuel line cover, so I poked a line in there to start with...

I removed the cover and discovered that there is actually a spare slot in the clip for this size line!?:D

So I ran the line through there and cable tied the other line to it...

Routed round to the back of the K-member for the right hand side....
Correct!...the cable ties are just temporary. I will use nutserts to hold bolt on P-clips(if I can't find solid plastic ones to clip straight in the holes) in those existing holes in the frame to secure them properly...

Can someone tell me how to post pics and be able to put text in between? Rather than having to do a new post for every photo? That way I can do a long single post with more in it. Currently all the photos will go after the text with no apparent way of editing their position.

After you upload, use the paperclip icon above your post to select the photo, and it will insert a code into your message that represents the photo, which you can type around.

Ok, I've done some more but not as much as I'd have liked due to smashing a CV in the Rangie. So I had to swap the entire front diff assembly out of my spare parts car instead of working on the stang:frusty::frusty:
So, I had to make some brackets out of 3mm ally to hold the ECU and another for the Valve block to bridge that little sump area in the wheel well. I should note that I used 5mm stainless bolts and nutserts rather than the 3/16" bolts provided by Accuair.

IMG_7541.jpg

So I made one to hold the ECU onto to the Valve block....

Like so...

Dummy up to measure height for spacers...

IMG_7581.jpg

and here I've fitted the nutserts for the compressors and clocked the brackets 90 degrees and repositioned and replaced with longer bolts at the crankcase end...

Remember when I said they didn't supply the main ECU harness and then sent one with a power lead only 2.5M long? Well, of course it wouldn't reach! It finished here in the footwell! So much for an S550 Mustang kit!?
So I had to splice and lengthen it. But first I had to find some TXL wire, luckily I had some left over from a DSC unit I fitted to my Dads' caravan. Accuair uses TXL wire already...it's the only wire to use!

IMG_7506.jpg

Now here is the correct way to splice. You need these brass crimps....

IMG_7507.jpg

IMG_7508.jpg

You need a tool like this. Don't worry, you can get cheap ones. This one was $400 in the 90's....

IMG_7509.jpg

Overlap just the stripped wire ends in the centre of the crimp....

IMG_7576.jpg

Crimped...

IMG_7577.jpg

and now with adhesive heat shrink...

Peter, I have questions...:hail:
Nutserts - are you using a pneumatic tool for compression?
TXL wire - what the hell is that?
My sparky brain is telling me that a soldered joint is ALWAYS the best, but those crimps look like a pretty damn good solution to the problem too.
ant wait to see more of your progress
