What I can't wrap my head around is why the aftermarket tuners like Lund building tunes around this TB/Intake combo. Maybe they do but it doesn't seem popular.

Cause i am sure they already did try and if you are going with Lund or other aftermarket tuner, you don't have to get the gt350 oem intake. Even gt350 intake owners are switching to jlt or other aftermarket intakes for a reason. Lund can tune a 90 mm throttle body with pms intake if you would like, so they have no limits when it comes to proper tuning. You might get better results with the same amount or less money. Its all up to the consumer demand. They really know what gives you gain what not!

This has broad enough gains in the midrange to the top that it looks worth the price of admission. Agreed on the curve shift, as the cross isn't quite at 5250 rpm. Can we get an adjusted overlay Dustin@LMR ?
Here is the overlay from the stock dyno run VS. the Stage 2 Power Pack.

Awesome!
That curve looks beautiful for road course folks. Big gains where you keep the engine on the race track. >30 hp over stock from ~4200-6300 RPM.

Maybe I'm a little dense here, but why is the tuned car making less than half the power and torque from 2500 - 3500 RPM? It doesn't even get close to making the same power and torque until you hit 5000 RPM. I would anticipate this shift if you also installed the GT350 IM, but just the TB and CAI shouldn't change the HP/TQ curves THAT much!

Look at this chart. At 2300 RPM, the tuned version has less than 150 HP and TQ, while the stock is closer to 325 HP and TQ. Last time I checked, 325/2 = 162.5, which means that the tuned curve has far LESS than half the horsepower and torque.

Look at the TQ difference at 5,100 RPM...

Looks like nearly 50 more foot pounds...that's impressive.

Yeah, that's awesome, but the HP/TQ loss up to 5100 RPM makes it far less attractive, as most driving is done between 2000 - 4000 RPM.

You are aware that BOTH the blue lines (one for HP and one for torque) is the untuned and the red is the tuned :headbonk:

try comparing red to blue

HP and TQ curves ALWAYS cross at 5,252 RPM.
The curves you are comparing do not intersect.

You are comparing the torque curve on the standard car to the power curve on the tuned car. Since the torque curve and power curves are on different scales, the comparison makes no sense... Put another way, you are comparing apples and oranges!

What are you looking at?
Are you comparing torque curve vs power curve?
