GT gas mileage

Just wondering what everyone is averaging with our lovely traffic up here in the Seattle-Tacoma area. I havent picked up my GT PP yet, should be here mid Dec. Currently I get about 22-24 out of a NA 4banger, so anything close to that would be a huge plus for having 2x the power!

Hey,Darkside, you will love the car. Use taller gears in traffic and stay smooth on the throttle. Car does fine. Remember it's a V8.

Thanks chedder. Looking forward to it. On my 1st test drive while on 512 in Puyallup, I found myself driving in 4th because the revs were similar to my current vehicle that sits between 3-4k at freeway speeds in 6th gear. I'm not getting a V8 for fuel economy

Lol! I bought mine to beat up on Porsches, BMW's, Corvettes and such on the track. My wife loves the performance also.

dude.. i drive this car daily between bothell to bellevue...so i get somewhere betwwen 17 to 22...i have fun and its my daily

I picked up a 15' gt premium yesterday and my commute is 55 miles 1 way. so far between yesterday driving it home and driving it to work this morning I've put about 110 miles on it (not enough for a good average I know) and 60mph 6th gear the readout is saying between 25 and 27

I can totally live with that kind of range. Would be hilarious to out do our Honda

yup.. and for me its more smiles per mles.. i have roush with h pipe... which contributes to less gas mileage hehehehe.. too much reving

chedder, thats awesome your lady is in to it also. Mine actually came up with the idea that I needed a new car after all these years and it needed to be American Muscle this time

I need to hear some exhausts in person so I can jump on any deals that may be available for BF/CM. Might have a garage full of goodies before I get the damn car haha

I also need to hear some exhausts in person! But throwing it out there. Yesterday I went from skagit valley to Tacoma and back. Averaged 27mpg out of my GTPP. Manual. Cruise control at about 70 until we hit roadwork.

Jinx.... my name is John and I ordered the same car haha. Thats pretty good. My S2k barely gets more than that on the same type of drive

Haha way to much coincidence here. My other car is a honda... Hahahaha

I like to do cross country, 2 or 3 day trips on back country roads that are curvy. Just to play. I know a bunch here in WA. And Oregon.

That sounds like a lot of fun!
