Trunk Mat or Liner

Hi,

Does anybody know where I can find the trunk mat or liner in Australia ?

I'd like to get the one from Lloyd with the GT logo or the rubber one with the running horse.

You can order the rubber one from your dealer or import it from the usual suppliers (not a great deal in price difference once shipping is taken into account - probably more so if you group it into a larger order).

The Lloyds mats I haven't seen locally, but are available on eBay and through CJ PonyParts etc.

If you use this seller and make a best offer of $79.90, they will counter with $89.90 (didn't try a lower offer).

I couldn't find one locally, nor do they have a local distributor so I ordered from CJ Pony

I contacted the dealer near my place for the rubber mat. they don't have in stock so need to place an order.

Got the rubbery one from dealer.
As Drew said it was about the same price as shipping one in, but less trouble.

Same here - dealer got it into stock within a few days.

What brand is that duster you have in the boot [MENTION=18576]ssb[/MENTION]?

I've been looking for a California Car Duster but can't find any in stock in Australia, Amazon won't ship them here and the shipping costs on eBay are outrageous.

I just threw it in with another order of heavy items - so no extra postage cost.

I got the gripper mat from CJPony. Looks fantastic and actually works well, It's sticky rubber .

Thanks. Something like that is almost a must for those of us with the darker colours.

Also quite surprised at how much the cargo net holds. I have my portable car vac and a bag containing detail spray, glass wipes and microfibres securely stashed with room for more.

Ended up getting a California Car Duster (wooden handle) from a Queensland eBay seller.

Just airing it out now.....my god it stinks.

Also have a St John Ambulance medium first aid kit incoming which will fill out the cargo net.

I dont think it is totally Ebay's priority shipping that is at fault here. I have used them many times and had no issues...the cost saving is massive over normal freight from the usa.
There are some weird things happening with o/seas freight at the moment. I had ordered a package from Levittown Ford almost a month ago...it arrived in Sydney in about four days and has sat there since..a quick search on ausposts site shows a mass of people complaining about missing freight around the same period of time. Levittown tell me it is a customs hold up. Customs have been running a rolling strike and industrial action here for a very long time.....sounds political to me....
