Yep, got it done in a couple hours. My cradle was off slightly from the factory and so I had to loosen all four bolts in order to install the BMR Lockout kit.How did you make out with the installation?
I just installed my CB005 this morning. Installation went great, but the steering wheel is off ever so slightly now. Just picked up the car yesterday and felt the wheel hop on the way home. After the Lock-out kit installation, non was present after several acceleration tests.Yep, got it done in a couple hours. My cradle was off slightly from the factory and so I had to loosen all four bolts in order to install the BMR Lockout kit.
The kit essentially centers the cradle. I had to get creative with pry bars but I did get it.
Thanks, i also know the corvettes's suspension is alot more critical to get right because of the type of car it is, but still good to know.I know the Corvette has alignment dowels built into the chassis that keeps this from happening.
Any update on this?We will have a kit available late next week to work with CB005 customers.
Talking to the Steeda Techs it takes only about 30 mins to install our Steeda IRS alignment kit. as mentioned in this thread it definitely locks the IRS sub frame in place once and for all.
Yes it has, Attached belowJust curious -
Has the kit been released by Steeda to work with the BMR CB005?

Other questions:
If the IRS cradle is ever so slightly skewed, will this affect the driveline, such as possibly cause the ever so common (and unresolved) "driveline vibe"?
Can the cradle be improved upon, rather than "bracing" it? Such as a possible aftermarket replacement of the stock cradle with a better cradle?
For handling? No. For drag racing weight reduction yes. WatsonIs there a chance that someone will design an aftermarket cradle that is better than the factory Ford unit?
