GT500 Dealer Allocations

Oh ok. I thought you had a build request in. I miss interpreted your post.

No problem man... I don't really care to have one, yet. ;)

I told my dealer, which is an msrp dealer, that ill be getting the gt500 from him and if there is a KR, he better get an allocation. ;)

Anyone else heard anything from their dealer?

My sales manager will call me tomorrow. I texted him today regarding the allocations. Will update.

Even if Ford shows us the GT500 in Jan as a MY2018, we won't see it in the showroom until a year from now.

Ford can still produce them next summer and be able to reach the 50th anniversary milestone. Lots of time for 2017s yet.

Ford has not announced the next GT500, much less announced dealer allocations yet! I do all the ordering for a large volume Ford dealer in the NW, and have been our store's SVT/Shelby Director for many years.

That said, I have a reliable source within Ford who assures me that the GT500 is coming back for sure and Ford will trump the Hellcat with at least 800hp in the next GT500.

While the HP rating will be over 800 (thePill says 808hp), the engines max torque will be kept down to 660tq.

Please reference the 5.2 CPC Aluminator's HP and TW spread. For that will carry on up to the "Predator" engine. An Ecoboost PTWA CPC Coyote displacing 5.2-5.4 liters. It will use a Twin Scroll designed BiTurbo system...

As long as torque is kept at 660tq, a 10 speed auto can support it as is.
