Kaiserslautern Mustang Owners

I just PCS'd from the states to K-town and have seen a lot of 6g mustangs rolling around. I thought I would make a thread here for us where we can post about future meet ups, advice, or just small talk. I wouldn't doubt if K-Town has the most new mustangs outside CONUS than any other location in the world.

Ya I checked it out. Too bad I don't speak German.lol I know most all of the people stationed here don't speak much German either.

I wish I did. I'm trying to learn as I think it is rude to not at least try to speak the local language.

Around Cologne there really is a flood of new Mustang as I heard, since Ford main location in germany in there. Here in Braunschweig I never saw another 6th Gen on the street yet (having mine since september).

I think here are still a few people from germany, like mclane and me (too bad you're more about 450km away from me), so maybe you find people for some meet ups :cheers:

First of all, welcome to Germany! You're going to love it here. I'm a civilian and have been over here since 2010. Do yourself a favor and get out as much as possible! Don't stick with the American tours if you can avoid them, really experience the culture.

If you want to learn German, there are some colleges on the base I would highly recommend. I learned it and it has been amazing being able to speak with the locals wherever I go. You can get by with English in most places but others are pretty stubborn about it!

Ya that's what I have heard. So far I start the conversation in German and they automatically start speaking English. A good and bad thing.

I have seen a ton of 6 yen mustangs around K-town. At least 15 or so. I know a couple members here are from K-town so at some point we will have to do a drive when it's nice out.

I live between vogelweh and landstuhl and drive a 2015 EB....

Stupid Officer decided to permanently close my drivers side door with the front of his Focus. 6 weeks have passed and it's still in the shop :frusty:

I'll have my stang back one day...

I'm down in Stuttgart. There are a lot of the 6g Stangs here too.
A shame the old forum doesn't exist.

I will be going to the "Retro Classic" Car Show in Stuttgart this weekend.
