Snap! My Lakin brackets arrived in local depot today (according to tracking) so should have them tomorrow. My car has one more short hop on Fidelio from pt Kembla to Melbourne then on the truck to Adelaide. Currently researching Xpel wraps.

Just got my Lakin plate holders and they are as good as everyone on here has said they are, now just to wait for the car to arrive:frusty:

Whilst there may be holes (some have more than others :doh, they obviously aren't visible when the plates are attached. I originally bought a Craig's bracket but had second thoughts when I saw how classy, well made and most importantly how solid the Lakin brackets are. I also don't have any need to remove them for car shows or whatever.

Each to their own, but no regrets here.

Its very strange this could peel off.
Friend of mine tried to take it off and ripped half the paint off.

Man that's a lot of stone chips and front bumper looks like its been through hell?
Need some PPF or stay away from those trucks..

Another member also experienced the Craig's bracket/plate combination tumbling from the front of their car whilst in motion.

Hence why the practice of Lakin avoidance isn't always the best move.

They are as solid as a rock.

You have multiple holes in your bumper with front parking sensors dont you? I know which holes I'd rather

Minor car accident probably loosened it a little. A few hit days with heat amplified by black paint may have done the rest...

Not sure, but it came off clean

My Lakin front bracket finally arrived yesterday, but now I don't want to fit it because the car looks so sinister without a front plate

Ordered my Lakin plates today, i hope they are as good as you guys say they are.

The Lakin brackets are so well made and customer service second to none. They really set off the car and look very smart, you won't be disappointed!!

I'm sure you will love them! They are perfect in my opinion and I couldn't imagine using anything else.

I fit mine a few weeks ago and think they look great!
