I'm just north of you guys at Houghton and Rita....Air Force here too. We attend Cars and Coffee every 2nd Saturday of the month. You should come along. You can meet me and [MENTION=8737]Millgeo5[/MENTION]... we live right next to each other.

I have an orange ecoboost, lowered with gt350 wheels.

That would be good, I gotta see what weekends I work since I work every other weekend. What time and where do these usually take place?

It's the second Saturday of every month. Starts at 0800 I think.

Anyone in the Tucson area hit up the drag strip off of Houghton? Please tell me the times are not corrected for DA lol!? If so can mark me down as slowest 5.0 in existence!

Ok yeah thanks, I used that when I got home. No wonder the track is so empty, I ran a full second different. Seems like nice cheap inexpensive track but barely anyone there. Gives the chance to run a lot, but can only watch my car do 14s so many times before getting frustrated :frusty: :lol:

It doesn't help that the track is 3075ft above sea level.

Turn out at the track is hit and miss. And the price to run has gone up recently. I'll be there Saturday in my race car (not a Mustang) fighting for 1st place in company's drag race club.

Hey everyone. Sorry for resurrecting a thread from 4 months ago, but I figured maybe some of you Tucson guys are still around. Just picked up my new baby in Phoenix and from the above threads, you seem pretty close by. Im in the Houghton/Bilby area myself. Are any of you members of the southern AZ mustang club that meets at Holmes Tuttle? I went to a meeting recently and was thinking of joining. Heard there is a differnt club too called old Pueblo. Just curious what's out there.
