2017 Mustang V6 Factory Order

Magnetic, 6MT, 051A Package, 3:55 Rear Diff and Spare Wheel Tire

$31,070 taxes in.

Got all Doc fees etc covered by additional $580 off the MSRP plus Employee Pricing. Don't have a Costco card or could have taken another $1000 off:doh:

First dealership tried the old school negotiate by monthly payment tactic and also tried to add a $250 administration fee to access the employee pricing promotion?!? WTF is that?

I walked out and emailed the Sales Manager at another dealership and got the deal done in 5 minutes over email.

Original sales guy called back last weekend asking if I was going to let a few hundred dollars get in the way of a deal. This idiot had tacked on nearly a $1000 in dealer fees onto the price!

Bummer is, they say Factory orders won't make it to Vancouver til late October now, so got a long wait. Hope my work beater lasts til then...

Got my base eco for 4500 under MSRP, and talked my way out of 800 worth of bullshit fees on top of that. Not the best deal in the world I'm sure, but I'm happy with it, especially since I had no trade in.

Getting my 17 gtpp premium this week. Yellow jacket Premier interior with nav and 401a. 47,288 before taxes. Minus the Costco 1000 bur added diamond coating and rust/sound protection underneath for 1063. Trading in my SUV also, getting 10g for that. Walking out the door at just over $43k after taxes and fees

Worked backwards here because I don't have my paperwork on me...

Factory Order for:
2017 Mustang Fastback 3.7L V6
ADD: Triple Yellow ($550)
ADD: Backup Sensors ($350)
ADD: Spare Wheel & Tire* ($200)

$ 28,344
$ -8,500 (trade 2012 Civic DX-G completely base)
$ 19,844
$ +2,580 (13% taxes)
$ 22,424
$ -1,000 (costco)
$ -1,000 (down payment for factory order)
$20,424 out of pocket (well, plus $1,000 from the down pay)

Ignoring the trade and the costco discount, after-tax price would be just about $32,000

Most interestingly, my insurance only went up about $10 if you ignore the $110 new car protection. Fuel costs about doubled per KM, but went up much more than that when accounting for the fact that this gets driven for fun more than the old one.

*unlike the new iphone, my car has a jack

They did, but I don't remember how much it was, so I didn't write it in my post, though I can say that was definitely well under $3,400 - I think around $1,500.
