I doubt you would lose much if any hp by using a high flow cat. I think that would be a great solution because it's a lot less hassle to stay legal and keep the CEL off. Of course the price goes up. Personally I would not cut the cats off of a new car. Bolt on everything is the most attractive to me.

Why can't we just get FORD to put on the PIPES we EXPECT on a NEW
car like the 5.0. They could do it you know.

any idea on the tuned horsepower after cat removed?
Still working on the tuning part of it so no numbers as of yet. We can say that the difference is significant enough to require custom tuning. Car runs extremely rich after the delete.

any significant weight difference???
Just weighed the two pipes there is a weight savings of about 5lbs combined.

We are working on a bolt-on solution.

This would require some kind of aftermarket tune to keep the CEL errors away correct?
Yes this will require tuning not only for the CEL but for the performance also.

Car is currently being used as a test mule for tuning, once that is complete we will be able to release numbers.

Already got a set of these in for my build. Very nice parts. Fast shipping, and they were able to send them a little longer for me, so I can eliminate the small section of the Magnaflow Catback.

I should have some good install photos, and some sounds - soon. ;)

Thanks again Adrian! I like what I see sir.

How much did it weigh + do you have a video of your new system's sound?
19lbs is what the resonator weighed. Sound Clip coming on the way we are fabricating both an H and X Junction to have available, and will have videos of how both sound.

For those interested in the Cat Delete Pipes, they are up on our website and we are we are giving 6g members an introductory price for a limited time. PM me for a coupon code.
