My stock P zeroes are almost done for and I've been trying to decide what tire to go for.

A friend of mine has suggested michelin PS2's, p zeroes, or goodyear F1's.

I was thinking more along the lines of pilot super sports but he swears that these tires are no good. :headbonk:

I live in FL so I can run summer tires all year long.

look at pilot super sports, PS2s are old. Look at sumitomo HTR III and continental DW also

Just picked up a set of nitto 555 g2's for the new set of wheels. Not a bad tire for the money. Good grip and quite.

the stock perreli tires suck

I replaced my rear tires @ 10,000 miles with Michelin pilot super sports
way more grip
wet and dry
i have put about 5000 miles on them so far, even been driving them in the light snow/ice up here in Canada, it was 0 to -7 for 3 weeks straight, with no grip issues

I had Mickey Thompson Street comps, DON'T put them on your GT if you care about performance. They may be OK for an eco boost or v6 but they lack the grip for the gt. I currently have the nitto 555 G2 and they are much better in every way. My next tire will be the michelin mpss or mps4

I had those on my 3.7L 2013. I didn't realize how bad they were compared to the pzeros (and apparently those suck, but I like them). Would not recommend

Thanks for the link.

I was set on getting super sports but my friend says they're terrible. I've heard nothing but the opposite from anyone else.
Yeah idk what your friend is talking about.

I have them on my car (stock PP size) and daily them, no complaints. Not too much experience in the rain though so can't comment on their performance there. When I have driven in the rain, I'm usually in the Rain/Snow mode taking it easy so I do fine.

I recommend them to everyone with any type of performance car.

I just bought Nitto G2 555's with wheels for huge discount over black friday sale, but i'm in chicago so won't be able to try them out for a few more months unfortunately. Glad to see you like them, this will be a huge upgrade for me I hope going from stock all season 235/50R18 to 255/275 19" staggered setup with Nitto 555's.

Those that had the MTs what type of climate were you in? Would they be any better out here in Ca as a spring/summer only tire and keep stocks for winter? Our summers are 95-110 avg.
