Somewhat new to this forum and have searched all over for the answers with no luck. Contacted Steeda and haven't heard aback from the tech and my car is already apart on jacks.

1) is there a "top/bottom" on the rear springs? I installed one then noticed the faint writing is upside down. Not sure because they are progressive if that makes a difference.

2) there is a black plastic wrap on a couple of coils on each spring. Is this to stay on for rubbing issues? if they remain, do they stay at the top or bottom?

I think the black plastic piece should be on top.

Put the spring in with the rubber wrap at the top. So flip it vs. how the pictures is now. Leave rubber wrap on top. Feel free to call Steeda and ask - they are best suited to help. Don't put much weight in the Steeda logo being up or down.

Plus I think the spring is bent differently on both ends and there is only one way the spring will sit right in the rubber bushings.

Tighter coils to the top or face up.

Thanks, Mike D

So, my progressive springs don't have that plastic wrap - any chance that helps eliminate some of the noise I'm having on mine?

Thanks guys..... rears are installed with no issues. Waiting on a spring compressor for the front. I'll get some before and after shots when complete.

Finally got it lowered. Might need some spacers. Wheels are looking a little tucked in under the fenders. Great stance tho :headbang:
