Mustangs booked on Tijuca departing 6th December, arriving early January 2017

I've been chasing it up since last week. Called CEVA, they gave me nothing but an email address to which the person responded "car is in quarinite hold, point of contact is your dealer" so she was useless.

Spoke to the dealership, they had no idea what's going on...

Not sure where to go from here, can't be mad at the dealers because it's not in their hands.

I hear customs are releasing the Mustangs from Webb Dock this week. So Melbourne folk might just see their cars this weekend if delivered before Wednesday. Otherwise, next week (because of the public holiday).

Why the delay I wonder. Cars on the previous ship Parsifal (landed only 6 days before Tijuca) arrived at the Melbourne dealers circa 17th....

Heard it from the dealer. So far he's been reasonable about sharing information so I give it a solid 75% true.

My dealers didn't tell me shit, legit seem like they have no idea what's going on.. wonder if they're bluffing?? Does he know why the wait?

He has no idea about the wait. To be honest, I'm sure he's just passing information he is getting from Ford which is why I put him at 75%. He's not dishonest; he just relies on Ford's information.

I'm so annoyed about this whole wait in customs, they should at least say why or someone should know something.

Just re-checked the CEVA Logistics tracking and my car has left the port and is on its way to Truganina (CEVA Logistics holding yard).

Same, still got nothing haha!

Vin 1FA6P8CF6H5241554 was on board the Tijuca, which was held by quarantine and all vehicles on board this vessel (around 10,000 vehicles) needed to be cleaned and re-inspected.



This process can take up to 2 weeks and is out of Ford Motor Company’s control.



We were advised that the vehicles were released on 20/01/2017 and are currently being cleared from the wharf in Melbourne.



I would anticipate the your vehicle will be delivered to your Dealership by the end of this this week or beginning of next week.



Please contact your Dealer in future for further update on the delivery of your vehicle. If they require any updates the Dealer will email the OCC for any information that they require.

Congratulations. Is your car being sent from CEVA to Sydney? I notice you seem to be based in Sydney.

Mine shows being at the dealer this afternoon, yeah!

It's probably nothing much, but still a worry...
