Does anyone happen to have the Diode Dynamics LED conversion kit? Debating between the stage 1 or stage 2 in cool white. Does anyone have stage 1 and wish they would have went with the stage 2 or vice versa?

I think I have all or most of their LEDs and highly recommend them.

Check out this video from Diode Dynamics
[ame]

The stage-1 uses HP3 bulbs and stage-2 uses HP5. Basically the HP5 is brighter. I think the temperature of the HP5 is slightly warmer than the HP3 but definitely brighter. This comment below from DD in the comments of that video.

"The HP3 has a measured output of 56 lumens, while the HP5 has a measured output of 92 lumens."

So I'm assuming by now that you've done the install; I'm debating on which ones to choose as well. What are your post-install thoughts?

I ended up ordering a 2016 so won't have the car until the end of the month hopefully with EDD of 9/28. I bought the stage 2 kit though and I'll let you know how they are as soon I get them installed

My stage 2 kit with cool white should be here tomorrow. Also ordered their brightest reverse bulb. I had their lights in my 14 and was very satisfied. Only had stage 1 there

bump anybody have feedback on the stage 2 kit i know for sure its a must for the trunk bulb simply due to the size of the trunk but what about inside the cabin?

I just dont want to feel like its extremely bright inside
if you've ever driven in the opposite direction of a truck like this you know what i mean...

I have the stg 2 and 15% window tint. I feel like they are so bright people can see me better than if the windows were down in broad daylight. But that's how bright I wanted them. It looks so luxury!

Personally, I feel like both options will produce an OEM like appearance. However, since the Mustang only has two map lights, and just one bulb for the trunk, I usually suggest going brighter.

Honestly, you can't go wrong either way. Both options are great looking and provide plenty of output.

I wouldn't consider Stage 2 blinding by any means either
