Not one, but multiple, Ford technicians can't figure out how to do an OPG?

God save us.

I'm not saying we've started just asking for myself since I'm not a ford tech

The only hard part?

The inside 10mm bolt on the oil pick up tube and the getting the right balance installer thread all. That was it.

Yep. We did mine along with the crank sprocket and damper in about 5 hrs at my buddy's shop. Oil pickup tube is the hardest part. Then we installed my Whipple the next day. Took the front retainers off each cam, slipped in a piece of paper over each cam, torqued the retainers back down, marked the timing chains and sprocket then released the tensioners and arms. Swapped everything out and put everything back on the marks. Works like a champ lol. Just remember to remove the paper from each cam. I never would've believed it but it keeps the cams from rolling and everything stays in time from the moment the engine was shut down.
