Yes looks like a great idea, especially for old farts that are use to old mechanical linkage and driving the GT350 makes us feel like we forgot how. Plus easy to install. I had spent some time looking at my clutch hoping there was someway to adjust it.

I can see how this it would work - the adjusting screw is used to adjust the preload on a spring loaded piston. Based on the preload, the initial fluid flow displaces the piston and is captured within the cylinder, until the fluid pressure is sufficient enough to activate the clutch. Adjusting the screw (changing the preload) determines how much the piston is displaced before the clutch activation pressure is achieved.

Pretty neat, but unnecessary for me.

Its basically a pressure regulator.

I would call it more a volume regulator, as this device does not regulate pressure, best I can tell - that is done by the clutch and it's associated components.

it makes throw out act like it holds more oil. I say the screw adjusts the maximum volume it will hold, along with spring to return the oil when you release.

I appreciate the analysis, though it looks as if no one's tried it? No one else has been bothered with the high engagement point? I know clutch stops used to be a big thing on the corvettes and Z06's. I thought this may be a bit more elegant of a solution.

I'm not interested in it either.
Just another part to fail and cause clutch failure.

I appreciate you introducing it. I'm fine with the clutch as is, especially since removing the OEM helper spring. Why don't you try it and report?
