No Love for the Genesis Coupe or 370Z?

People love the Miata and Toybaru twins (FRS, BRZ), but always complain about the power. They are light rwd cars with just enough power for the weight.

Why is there no love for the Genesis Coupe (350hp) or the 370Z (330hp)? They are heavier, but have a better power to weight ratio.

Test drove the Gen Coupe and 370Z and thought they were fun cars. Owned the FRS for years and loved it, but needed more power.

VQ rwd fan car or truck. The Z is dated as if Nissan lost interest. Gen suffers from Brand recognition no heritage .

I owned​ a 370Z and performance was okay, though it was the slowest of my last 4 cars. It had a lot of daily driveability issues, so I got rid of it and I have not been a fan since. 5th gear grind, throttle lag, oil overheating, to name a few.

I was 100% convinced I was getting a base 2016 or 17 370Z because at the base level I feel it's a lot of car for 30k. Never even thought about Mustangs. For some reason I assumed they were quite a bit more expensive. Went to browse auto trader one day, and realized a new Base GT could be had for 370 money.

I mainly wanted the V8 sound. Turns out there isn't much sound out of a stock S550. Still happy with my choice.

I have always been a fan of the 350z/370z cars, friend just got a 15 I think. Pretty nice but stock it is dead quiet. 370z has been out for a long time with little change so that's probably why you don't hear much about it.

The 370 is long in the tooth. Hope the new design is sweet.

I've been working on a neighbors Infinity G35 and it feels decent for what it is. I wouldn't want 1 without the stillen supercharger kit as it feels a bit under powered for what I like, but for a family car, you can get it in a sedan and AWD, I think it would be ok

I drove a '10 Gen Coupe 3.8/6m for about 3 years and I loved the car. Loved it.

I had a brz and picked it over a 370z because it was a hell of a lot more fun on the test drive. I'd always had Z's. Had a 240, 80, and 280zx. The brz is like the perfect version of what I always wanted my Z's to be. I really wanted to love the 370. But I just didn't. It was the least inspiring test drive I've been on ever. When I decided I didn't want to turbo my brz and deal with issues I'd seen others have I moved on to the gt since it cost the same as a Z, gets about the same mpg, and has the v8 sound and power, and handles better than the 370 does. It's just better at everything the Z does for the same price.
