Exactly! I've had some people think I'm nuts for saying that the BMW interiors aren't that much better than my mustang. I don't think the materials quality is that good until you get up into the super expensive models where everything is wrapped in leather or alcantara. And honestly, the interiors of the current 2/3/4 series cars just looks dated. And I think it's offensive that you have to pay $2300 to get basics like lumbar support in a car that's already $45,000.My recommendation is to drive some BMWs and see how you like them. I was considering an M4 or M2. I drove a few BMWs and I like the Mustang much better. I think a V8 sounds a lot better than a 6, for one. I also don't care for the cheap switch gear inside the BMW. I do think the BMW has a more prestigious look from the outside and some parts of the interior as well.
