I like to disassemble things.
I'm gonna be real pissed if ford lies again and makes the 2018 better with more power.
I hope they lied! Retrofit this baby. Updated hardware is all good in my book.

I have been checking into a sequential M6 for myself.
I just spent a day and a half walking the floor at PRI with George from MGW. We must have stopped by six transaxle/transmission "booths." Quality was insane as well as the pricing. The last one was Quaife, from England. Their pricing was really competitive given that some of the high dollar stuff fell just short of 50K. They had a unit you could make fit our cars (remote bracket, different rear flange, new driveshaft, etc).

Here's one on a stand with George shifting it. These things beg to be beaten into submission and are extremely robust.

Some of you know that I've worked at a Ford dealership for a long time. The form on the home page is legit and '18 will only see paint colors change for GT350's. I had the owner of the dealership I work for sign our '18 GT350 enrollment form today, then I personally emailed it to Ford.

My dealer got the call back from his rep and was told he didn't have a very good chance at an R. Told me he wasn't going to enroll for the '18 MY. He said he'll just wait for the next FP vehicle. Still have , what 5 or 6 new models to introduce before 2020?

The fact that the '18 GT350 is described as 'color change only' suggests that the regular '18 models are only getting an exterior update with no changes to the interior. If there were to be changes to the interior they would apply to the '18 GT350 as well.

Most "facelifts" don't touch the interior. The changes will be very minimal.

I hope ford goes with a DCT i think that and a power bump will be a great thing for the GT350/GT350R

I'm not a mustang GT owner, but to me this 2018 GT350 run is a bad idea.
1) the Camaro 1Le isn't far behind for less $$
2) the Mustang GT power output and handling are falling way behind the competition.
3) the 2018 GT gets Magnaride suspension and a 10 speed auto.
4) the 2018 GT350 gets nothing but paint color options.
5) ford can keep the GT350 the same just include the option of the A10 or a sequential M6.

LMFAO how is a bad a ideal to have a 2018 GT350 ?

This is my thinking as well. If they change the Mustang all of the trims will get the update.

Really? Because every single facelift for the S197 changed the interior of the GT500. Vents, dash panels, gauges, head rests, etc...

The facelift from '12 - '13MY didn't see any interior changes though.

Whilst I'm not expecting any changes inside for '18MY, it would be a nice surprise if they do a few tweaks (perhaps digital gauges / 10" screen etc)

Seems clear that the 18 refresh is just the GT350 bodywork (windshield forward, mostly)

It happened in 2013/14 GT got the GT500 bits.

It s the only way all this new info makes sense.

Be prepared to be surprised at Detroit then ;)

For the GT500, yes, it did. The dash panels changed and the LCD gauge display was introduced in that update. I think the head rests changed as well, but can't positively recall.
