I have a 2017 GT with PP. As I understand the PP shares parts with both the Street and the Track packages from Ford. How about explaining what parts would be needed for either of these Ford suspension packages to upgrade to either from the PP. It is easy to think that if you have a PP car you need to replace all the parts when in fact that is not the case. For example the PP package is the Street package except for the springs.
Actually it would be nice to have a "package buy" for PP cars with only the parts that are really needed to upgrade.
thanks

I will do some research and see if I can figure this out.

Okay here is what I found and I could be wrong because I did my research on the internet.

The struts, springs, and sway bars, bushings etc. are different than what is factory installed on PP cars.

The Street Package is closest to the factory PP parts but they would still be an upgrade overt he factory parts. The springs are 1" lowering springs and are firmer than the stock springs. The struts have firmer valving in them and the sway bars are a little larger. The street package is great for a daily driver as you will see and feel a improvement but your ride will not be uncomfortable.

The Race Package is a step or two above the street package. The springs are made out of a larger diameter wire than the street package the struts are firmer and the swaybars take another step up in diameter. This setup may be to firm for most people and will really transmit road vibrations and impacts to the passenger compartment.

So any suspension part you want to change would be more performance oriented than the factory parts you would be removing. It is just up to you as to how firm you want your suspension to be.

What's your take on the FRPP Track Package for aggressive street driving / daily driving / realistically not seeing the track more than once per year?
Coming from a Fiesta ST with Mountune springs - would like no rougher ride than that and ideally less bouncy.

Basically how do I make my car handle like a GT350 (or 80% of the way there)? That car had the most perfect set up for balancing comfort and handling for me.

If you have terrible roads like we do here the race springs may be too much for daily driving. The best compromise would be the street springs and race struts and sway bars. Any rubber bushings you can replace with urethane and a sticky set of dedicated summer high-performance tires will get you where you want to be.

Good to know. Our roads are actually quite good here, though out in the country they can get bumpy. Very little potholes though. The worst road conditions we have are bridge expansion joints and that coarse pavement surface they do out on some country roads
