I just got my 2016 gtpp a couple days ago and noticed that when the engine is up to temperature it idles with 20 pounds oil pressure. Just curious if this is normal? Seems a little low to me but I'm used to old v8s and race car engines that run more pressure.

If it's abnormal, it's affecting my GTPP as well. I noticed today on my drive home that it was right around 20-25psi at idle.

I doubt it's anything to merit concern though.

I thought the non-gauge setting indicates if the oil pressure is outside of system parameters?

i think youre thinking temperature where its just a green yellow red ranges on the LCD display. PP has oil pressure has real gauges itself and actual real numbers

Right, driven a pp but as a non-pp owner it's likely different.
