Eibach SportPlus Back Tire rub

Can you use a coil spring spacer to fix the problem on a SportPlus install? I only need about another 0.5-1.0 inch. I have NT555G2 305/30ZR20 and they rub ever so slightly.

Well... few options:

1) Is your wheel sticking too far out toward the fender? If so and they are staggered, a machine shop may be able to shave a few mm off of it to make it fit better.

2) In lieu of above, Steeda sells spring spacers. Can help.

3) What rear camber are you running? Sometimes just adding a little bit more solves it.

Camber is -1.6deg. Do you think adding a little bit the tires will wear on the inside too much? Are the steeda spacers any different than the Mr. Gasket ones?

-1.6 should be enough. Your wheels are the wrong offset then. You need option #1 if they're rubbing on the fender. What wheels do you have? Are you using spacers?

Well... can try max camber which is about -1.8 -1.9 stock. Other than that, going to have to have the wheel machined to bring it in a little. I have 10.5" 35 offset wheels and run a 285 tire in the rear and plan to run a 305 but they're 19" so lots more wheel gap.

Or raise the car .5" like you originally suggested, might work. No guarantee. Rear wheel offset with a 10.5 must need to be like 40-ish. My 20" wheels are 50 offset and 11" and I can run a 315 without rubbing at that camber.

The Steeda Spring spacers? you think I should give them a shot?
