I have another thread asking how to remove the rotors. If I ever manage to get the danged things off, can I paint the center portions of the rotor (front and back) as well as the wheel hub to keep them from rusting again?

If so, can I just use like a hi-temp engine paint?

Yes, but prep them properly to remove any surface rust.
A dead blow hammer works wonders for removal.

If you drive the shit out of your car, the paint will burn off. I used the highest temp possible on the Vette, hat sections are aluminum, and the black high temp paint worked great on the part of the rotor that bolts to the hat until I did a track day and then it was gone.
