Top five greatest movies maybe?

I was just thinking as I sit here watching this movie again probably for the 50th time. I dont get it i will be channel surfing and there it is again and i stop and watch it again. It can be right in the middle and im dedicated once again..So is something wrong with me lol. I can name a few others I donate the same amount of time to. By the way the movie is The Shawshank Redemption...so any other greats fall into this catagory?

Both fantastic movies. I'm the same way with Shawshank. For me Alien/Aliens is way up there as well. Can't help myself but to put it on when channel surfing.

There are a lot of movies I will do that with, and some of them definitely do not fall in the "greatest of all time" list, but I will still watch them anyways.
Some that may qualify; The Departed, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Green Mile.
A couple that dont but I will watch regardless; Shooter, any of the Riddick movies.
I know there are more for both lists, but I've only had one cup of coffee so far this morning.

Got to throw out some outstanding old film noir's too, these are fascinating, well done flicks that still hold up well today. I get my fix on TCM or as my wife calls it, the "grampa" channel. Get your b&w on and watch!
