Adjust the bumpers up half a turn at a time until it stops. Done deal.

Since it had 10 miles on it... I keep thinking the Torque Tongue is trying to come through.

This is what I did. And if you want to learn a lot more about hood shake and lift check out this thread. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32005&highlight=Hood

Finally did some testing with the new latches and hood struts, and I can say the hood shake, lift and float is completely solved. I would imagine the struts also help bu the quick latch really keeps the hood pinned down. Before I got hod lift and shake on the highway at 70 mph, I tested this out to double digits now and it's solid. Here are the latches I used, and I bought the white ones but repainted them Oxford white.

Is that rust on your hood where you drilled for the hood latch? Aren't these fully aluminum hoods?

Hood struts and adjusting the rubber bumpers reduced it almost to 0 for me.

Perhaps the exoskeleton under the actual hood skin is steel.

I took the car out of town last weekend and we had some 40mph gusts out here. Holy crap, I was legitimately startled seeing my hood flex and lift up. I got used to it after some time, but man I definitely want to adjust my bumpers and get a pair of hood struts now.

I have had my car up about 120 mph several times and haven't noticed any hood shake....ever. But I installed hood struts the day after I purchased my car. So maybe that did it
